Woods Capital is planning to construct two high-rises in downtown Dallas, TX. One will be a 20-story residential tower and the other an office building of similar size. According to The Dallas Morning News, each structure is estimated to cost $70 million. Last year Woods acquired the land for development and hopes for completion by 2026.
The Ivy office tower will span 200,000 square feet across from The English residential tower at 5115 McKinney Avenue off Central Expressway – a corridor that has recently seen numerous highrise developments such as StreetLights Residential’s Galatyn apartment building and two more towers planned nearby by Houston developer Hines & Stockdale Investment Group just south of Knox Street.
Woods made headlines when it purchased the 60-story Comerica Bank Tower with plans to convert much of its office space into hotel or residential use.
