Petree Properties is still a few public hearings away from its mission to build 1,500 apartment units and more than 20,000 square feet of retail on a 15-acre site in midtown Phoenix. Recently, the neighborhood planning committee gave the project their blessing which allows it to move ahead to the Phoenix Planning Commission and then City Council on September 6.
According to The Phoenix Business Journal’s initial plans for this four-phase project call for four buildings including a 22-story high-rise apartment and retail building that will contain 1,500 new rental units as well as 20,000 square feet of commercial space.
The property is located at Central and Glenrosa avenues across from Steele Indian School Park with two apartment/retail buildings (one being the 22 story high rise) proposed for east end facing Central Avenue while two solely residential buildings are planned for west end of property.
