Convene Hospitality Group has expanded its presence at Hamilton Square in Washington, D.C., signing a new lease for a full floor in the downtown office property. The company committed to 26,615 square feet on the sixth floor of the building at 600 14th Street NW, adding to its existing footprint in the asset.

The expansion increases Convene Hospitality Group’s overall occupancy at Hamilton Square to three full floors totaling 79,850 square feet. The deal reflects the firm’s continued focus on flexible workspace, meetings, and events offerings in a central business district environment with strong amenity support.

Hamilton Square is a 316,778-square-foot office property situated just steps from the White House and the National Mall. The location places tenants within immediate reach of a dense mix of restaurants and hotels, supporting both day-to-day office needs and corporate or institutional events. The building also benefits from proximity to several Metro stations within walking distance, enhancing accessibility for employees and visitors across the region.

Transwestern advised Convene Hospitality Group on the expansion. A leasing team comprising Larry Serota, John Schlegel, and Collin Brown represented the tenant in the transaction. In addition to its tenant-representation role, Transwestern serves as the exclusive leasing broker for Convene Hospitality Group’s private WorkPlaces at Hamilton Square.

The private WorkPlaces concept at the property is fully leased, underscoring consistent demand for flexible, premium workspace product in this particular asset. Transwestern’s team noted that the additional full-floor commitment is aligned with Convene Hospitality Group’s long-term presence in Washington, D.C., and its strategy of positioning offerings in what it describes as core, amenity-rich environments.

The building’s setting near prominent federal landmarks and hospitality options, combined with its transit access, supports Convene Hospitality Group’s focus on thoughtfully curated meetings and events. The new lease enlarges the company’s platform within the property, consolidating a significant block of space across multiple floors in a single downtown location.

While financial terms of the lease were not disclosed, the transaction exemplifies how flexible workspace and event-focused operators continue to target centrally located office assets that can deliver both proximity to major civic destinations and a surrounding ecosystem of services.
