Stellar Energy, a cooling equipment manufacturer serving the data center industry, is evaluating a significant industrial commitment at Hillwood’s AllianceTexas masterplanned development in Fort Worth. The company has received approval from Denton County for an incentive package valued at $300,000 as it considers establishing operations in a large-scale logistics facility known as Alliance Westport 24.
The contemplated site is a 1.1-million-square-foot building located at 15060 Blue Mound Road within the 27,000-acre AllianceTexas complex. According to reporting referenced from the Dallas Business Journal, Stellar Energy has submitted architectural plans for the facility and may have executed a lease with Hillwood, which owns the AllianceTexas development. RGA Architects Inc. is identified as the design firm on the project, indicating pre-development and design activity is underway.
In addition to county support, the initiative has also received a local incentive commitment. The Fort Worth City Council recently approved tax breaks for the prospective project that could total up to $2.8 million, contingent on Stellar Energy meeting specified performance deadlines and requirements. These city incentives are structured to be realized only if the company follows through on its investment and operational plans at the Alliance Westport 24 building.
The total planned investment associated with the facility is estimated at approximately $79.5 million. Of that figure, about $34 million would be directed toward property improvements at the building, with an additional $45.5 million earmarked for equipment. This mix suggests a substantial allocation toward both physical build-out and specialized systems required for manufacturing and supporting data center cooling infrastructure.
Timing details provided for the project indicate an accelerated schedule. Stellar Energy could begin work at the property as early as this month, with completion targeted for August. If the project proceeds as outlined, the new facility would expand the industrial and technology-oriented base at AllianceTexas while adding a large, specialized manufacturer to the region’s data center supply chain ecosystem.
