Warby Parker has expanded its brick-and-mortar presence with a new location at Geneva Commons, marking the eyewear retailer’s 15th store in Illinois. The shop is opening in the Chicago suburb of Geneva within the open-air lifestyle center, adding to the company’s growing national network of more than 300 stores. This latest location reflects Warby Parker’s continued emphasis on physical retail in addition to its established digital platform.

The new Geneva Commons store will carry Warby Parker’s full assortment of optical and sunglass products, giving customers access to the brand’s complete eyewear offering in a suburban setting. In addition to frames and lenses, the store will provide third-party contact lenses and a range of accessories, consolidating core vision products in a single venue. Eye exams will also be available on-site, allowing visitors to receive clinical services and fill prescriptions in one visit.

Warby Parker’s footprint in Illinois now spans multiple cities across the Chicago area. The retailer’s other locations in the state include stores in Chicago, Naperville, Willowbrook, Deer Park, Deerfield, Naperville and Schaumburg. With the addition of the Geneva Commons store, the brand increases its accessibility to consumers across a broader portion of the Chicago suburban market.

Geneva Commons itself is a sizeable open-air retail plaza, spanning 438,169 square feet. The property is located at 602 Commons Drive and features more than 60 retailers, combining national chains with local brands. Its merchandising mix positions the center as a regional shopping destination serving Geneva and the surrounding communities within the Chicago suburban area.

The tenant lineup at Geneva Commons is anchored by several well-known national retailers. Notable anchors include Dick’s Sporting Goods, Barnes & Noble, Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn. These retailers are complemented by shadow anchors such as Fresh Market, DSW, HomeGoods and Binny’s, which add additional traffic drivers and diversify the center’s overall offering. The presence of these anchors and shadow anchors supports consistent foot traffic across the plaza.

By opening a new store at Geneva Commons, Warby Parker is aligning its services and product offering with an established retail environment that already attracts a wide customer base. The combination of fashion, home goods, specialty retail and food-related tenants at the center provides a broader context for the eyewear retailer’s newest Illinois location, reinforcing its role as part of a multi-tenant destination within the Chicago suburbs.
