Arizona Cardinals Begin Work on $200M Office and Training Facility
The Arizona Cardinals have begun construction on a 250,000-square-foot combined training facility and office complex for the team’s business operations.
The $200 million facility will be built on 30 acres within a 217-acre property located west of Scottsdale Road and north of Loop 101, near the Phoenix–Scottsdale border. The Cardinals acquired the site last year at auction from the Arizona State Land Department for $136 million.
Plans for the new complex include three natural-grass outdoor practice fields and a fieldhouse with a full-size turf field. The facility will also feature spaces for athletic training, sports medicine, strength and conditioning, dining areas, meeting rooms and a player lounge.
The office portion of the project will be part of a larger mixed-use development that is set to include restaurant, retail and residential components. The Cardinals control more than 185 additional acres on the property and are actively marketing that land for headquarters campuses for large businesses.
Construction on the headquarters is expected to be completed before the start of the 2028 NFL season.
