**Howard Hughes Holdings and Houston Texans Partner on 83-Acre Entertainment District in Bridgeland**

Howard Hughes Holdings is joining forces with the Houston Texans to develop an 83-acre sports and entertainment district within Bridgeland, the expansive 11,500-acre master-planned community located in Cypress, Texas.

Named the Toro District, the new development will be situated within Bridgeland Central—the community’s 925-acre urban core. The area is set to become a vibrant destination featuring a mix of retail, restaurants, hotels, entertainment venues, multifamily residential units, and medical facilities.

A significant component of the Toro District will be the new Houston Texans headquarters and training facility. Spanning 22 acres, the complex will include an office building, indoor stadium, and outdoor practice fields. These facilities will also serve the community, offering space for youth sports programs and local events.

Global architecture and design firm Gensler will lead the project’s design efforts.

The Harris County Commissioners Court has approved a memorandum of understanding for the Toro District, projecting that the development could generate up to $34 billion in economic impact and create approximately 17,000 jobs over the next 15 years.

Further details, including a groundbreaking date, development timeline, and project renderings, are expected in the coming weeks.
