**Sunbelt Investment Holdings Acquires 272 Acres in Buckeye for $62.5 Million**

Sunbelt Investment Holdings Inc. (SIHI) has emerged as the winning bidder for a 272-acre parcel of Arizona State Land in the city of Buckeye. The land auction, which started at $42 million, concluded with a final price of $62.5 million.

The newly acquired land adds to Sunbelt’s existing footprint in the area. The company already owns two adjacent properties to the north and south of the site, totaling approximately 375 acres. The entire assemblage fronts two miles along the busy I-10 corridor, making it an attractive prospect for future development.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, Sunbelt is exploring a range of potential uses for the site, including retail, restaurants, medical facilities, and multifamily housing. The company plans to collaborate with the city of Buckeye for entitlement approvals, with groundbreaking for the first phase expected in 2029 or 2030.

Currently, SIHI owns and operates 23 neighborhood and power shopping centers throughout Southern California and Arizona, encompassing more than 4.1 million square feet of leasable space. Additionally, the firm owns a 1.5 million-square-foot portfolio of newly developed industrial properties and is in the process of developing its first multifamily project in Phoenix.

This latest acquisition enhances Sunbelt’s growing presence in the Southwest and demonstrates its continued investment in strategic, long-term development opportunities.
