**Simon Property Group Unveils $250M Renovation Plans at Cherry Creek Shopping Center**
Simon Property Group has announced a major renovation plan for Denver’s Cherry Creek Shopping Center as part of a broader $250 million investment that will also include upgrades at The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville and International Plaza in Tampa.
The Cherry Creek Shopping Center, which spans 1.2 million square feet, is set to begin its transformation later this year. Planned improvements include the addition of modernized flagship retail spaces, updated architectural features, and enhanced storefront designs – all aimed at elevating the shopping experience.
Currently home to more than 160 retail stores, a movie theater, and over a dozen dining options, the Cherry Creek Shopping Center continues to attract new tenants. Recent additions include the Mexican eatery Ash and Agave and the popular home furnishings retailer Crate & Barrel.
This major renovation comes at a time when the surrounding Cherry Creek area is experiencing significant growth. Several large-scale developments are either in the planning stages or already under construction, contributing to the vibrancy and expansion of one of Denver’s most prominent commercial districts.
Simon Property Group also owns three other retail centers in Colorado: Denver Premium Outlets in Thornton, Denver West Village in Lakewood, and Colorado Mills Mall, also located in Lakewood.
