Centurion American Development Group is making significant progress on a $1 billion redevelopment of the former Collin Creek Mall in Plano, Texas. Over 500 single-family homes have already been delivered by builders at the site. In addition, the company is planning to add 412 apartment units, which are currently awaiting permits. Once approved, construction on the multifamily component of the project will begin.
Work is also advancing on the 300,000-square-foot retail space that will serve as a key feature of the new development.
Upon completion, the Collin Creek redevelopment will include more than 500 single-family homes, approximately 2,300 apartment units, and 300 senior living residences. The project will also feature 1.5 million square feet of office space, a variety of retail and dining options, public parks, and a future hotel.
Originally opened in 1981, Collin Creek Mall officially closed its doors in 2019, paving the way for its transformation into a vibrant mixed-use community.
