**Quantum Machines to Establish Hub at Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park**
Quantum Machines, a leading provider of hybrid control solutions for quantum computing, is set to establish a flagship hub at the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (IQMP). This move is in collaboration with the Illinois Economic Development Corporation and marks a significant step in Illinois’ growing reputation as a center for quantum technology innovation.
The company will operate a state-of-the-art research and development lab at IQMP. The lab will focus on a hardware-control co-design approach to better integrate quantum processors, classical infrastructure, and control software—key elements needed to advance scalable quantum computing solutions.
“Illinois is building the future of quantum technology, and Quantum Machines’ decision to establish a presence at the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park is further proof that our state is the premier destination for next-generation innovation,” said Governor JB Pritzker.
Quantum Machines also maintains a partnership with Diraq, a future IQMP tenant, aimed at scaling silicon-based quantum computers. The IQMP broke ground in Fall 2025 and spans 128 acres, offering robust infrastructure and resources to support the commercialization of quantum technologies, including hardware, software, and applications.
Additionally, Carter Andrus, Chief Operating Officer of Prologis, will serve as the keynote speaker at the upcoming Connect Industrial Midwest conference. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Joe’s Live in Rosemont, Illinois.
