**ZOM Living Acquires Doral Office Property for $26.25M, Plans 380 Apartments**

ZOM Living has purchased an office building in Doral for $26.25 million, with plans to redevelop the site into a new residential community.

The 6.57-acre site, located at 8300 N.W. 33rd Street, was sold by Ascent, according to a report from the South Florida Business Journal. ZOM secured a $92.3 million construction loan from PNC Bank to support the redevelopment. The property last changed hands in 2021 for $19.96 million, reflecting a significant increase in value.

The site is currently home to a 109,559-square-foot office building constructed in 1998. However, the structure is set to be demolished to make way for a new development featuring 380 apartments.

This project aligns with a broader trend observed in western Miami-Dade County, where aging office properties are being replaced with multifamily or industrial developments. While demand for office space remains high in urban centers such as Brickell, leasing has proved more challenging in suburban markets further west.
