**RXR Breaks Ground on The Arden, Next Phase of Glen Cove Waterfront Development**
A partnership between master developer RXR and Chuo Nittochi America Corporation has officially broken ground on The Arden, a new residential development located within the Garvies Point project in Glen Cove, Long Island.
Marking the next chapter in the ongoing transformation of Glen Cove’s waterfront, The Arden will be a five-story building offering 101 residences, with layouts ranging from studios to three-bedroom units. This development continues the successful efforts to reshape the waterfront and surrounding downtown area into a vibrant, mixed-use community.
“This groundbreaking represents another milestone in our long-term commitment to Glen Cove and the continued revitalization of the waterfront and downtown core,” said Joe Graziose, Executive Vice President of Residential Development and Construction at RXR. “Garvies Point has already proven itself as a thriving neighborhood. This next phase brings an even higher caliber of living, further solidifying Glen Cove as a premier destination on Long Island.”
The Arden is expected to be completed in 2027. It joins a growing list of residential offerings at Garvies Point, which include the 385-unit Harbor Landing rental community and The Beacon, a condominium building featuring 166 homes.
