**Biotech Tenants Commit to Breakthrough Properties’ Governor Pointe Campus in San Diego**
JLL has secured two new leases at Governor Pointe, Breakthrough Properties’ state-of-the-art life science campus located at 6200 Greenwich Drive in San Diego. The two-building, 231,000-square-foot facility continues to attract growing biotech companies as part of the region’s expanding life sciences ecosystem.
Protego Biopharma signed a lease for 12,742 square feet, while AcelaBio committed to 7,940 square feet. Both companies will occupy space within StudioLabs by Breakthrough — a turnkey offering that provides fully furnished private lab and office suites, designed as plug-and-play solutions for scaling biotech firms.
“These commitments by Protego Biopharma and AcelaBio demonstrate the continued importance of life science and biotech to San Diego’s economic growth,” said Greg Bowman, Vice President at Breakthrough Properties.
On the landlord side, Breakthrough Properties was represented by JLL’s Chad Urie, Grant Schoneman, and Michelle Westoby. Protego Biopharma’s lease was negotiated by Greg Bisconti and Justin Venckus of JLL, while Tristen Schneider of Kidder Mathews represented AcelaBio.
Governor Pointe offers flexible lab and office space for tenants ranging in size from 7,500 square feet to 163,000 square feet, accommodating a wide range of life science and innovation-driven companies.
