**Development Team Completes Carroll Gardens’ First Upscale Multifamily Since 2011**
A major milestone has been reached in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens neighborhood with the completion of The Carroll, an 82-unit luxury rental apartment building located at 33 4th Street. This marks the area’s first upscale multifamily development since 2011.
The project was spearheaded by a collaboration of experienced industry professionals. GH Management served as the developer and IMC Architecture led the building’s design. Complete Development acted as the development manager and owner’s representative, while MNC+Sons Contractors handled construction management. Classic Image designed the building’s interior spaces.
EXR is managing leasing efforts for the project. Co-founder and Executive Director John Le Vine, along with Managing Director David Korn, have overseen a rapid lease-up. “The leasing for The Carroll has been extremely successful, with nearly 100% of units rented shortly after the building’s completion,” said Korn.
A suite of technical consultants supported the development, including structural engineer GACE Engineering, SOE engineer FNA Engineering, and MEP engineer Ventrop Engineering Consulting Group. Tier 2 provided landscape design services, and CORE Consultants led zoning and permitting efforts. Construction financing was provided by Webster Bank.
This project stands as a significant addition to the neighborhood, reflecting Carroll Gardens’ strong demand for high-end multifamily housing and the continued growth of Brooklyn’s residential market.
