**Kane Realty Gets Green Light for Three High-Rise Developments in Raleigh**

The Raleigh City Council has approved Kane Realty’s rezoning application, allowing for the development of three high-rise buildings — spanning 12, 20, and 40 stories — across multiple lots located at Six Forks and Lassiter Mill roads. The city has placed a condition limiting building heights to 37 stories.

According to the Triangle Business Journal, the development could encompass a total of 3 million square feet across six parcels. This includes up to 2,521 residential units, approximately 1.67 million square feet of office and medical space, and up to 263,465 square feet allocated for retail and restaurant use.

As part of the rezoning approval, Kane Realty has agreed to include a zoning condition requiring a contribution to the city’s affordable housing fund. The condition mandates a $40,000 payment per dwelling unit for up to 1% of the approved residential units — a contribution that could total up to $1 million.

This move signals a significant step in the continued growth and development of Raleigh’s urban landscape.
