**Hilco Global Provides $47.5M Loan for Chattanooga’s The Bend Project**
Hilco Global has delivered a $47.5 million loan to support the recapitalization and ongoing development of The Bend, a significant mixed-use riverfront project in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The development is being led by Urban Story Ventures (USV).
This funding aims to optimize the project’s capital structure by facilitating the sale of individual parcels to vertical developers and attracting new equity partners aligned with the project’s long-term vision.
The Bend is situated along more than 3,000 feet of Tennessee River frontage, just adjacent to downtown Chattanooga. Spanning over 100 acres, the project’s current master plan includes approximately 1,700 residential units, 1.1 million square feet of office space, 1.2 million square feet of retail, 600 hotel rooms, various entertainment and cultural venues, and a 300-slip marina.
An independent economic impact study by Younger & Associates forecasts that The Bend could drive nearly $1 billion in new investment over the next 30 years.
