**107-Key Cambria Hotel Breaks Ground in Mesa**
Construction is officially underway on the new Cambria Hotel Mesa, set to rise at the corner of Elliot and Ellsworth Roads in Mesa, Arizona. The hotel will serve as one of the anchor tenants of the forthcoming East Gate Plaza, a $60 million shopping center currently in development.
This will be the third Cambria Hotel in Arizona’s Valley region. The Cambria brand, owned by Choice Hotels International, Inc., is positioned as an upscale offering in the hospitality market.
Planned as a five-story property, the Cambria Hotel Mesa will feature 107 guest rooms and a suite of modern amenities. These will include a rooftop restaurant and bar, a separate lobby bar, an oversized outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, guest laundry facilities, a grab-and-go market, and meeting rooms. The hotel will also be equipped with electric vehicle charging stations.
Development is being led by Aspect Hospitality Group, Clarity Strategic Opportunities, and O’Reilly Hospitality. The development team acquired the land for $2.6 million earlier in 2024. Canyon Builders has been named the project’s contractor, with financing provided by Enterprise Bank.
Construction is expected to take approximately one year, with the hotel scheduled to open in early 2027.
