**VERVE College Station Breaks Ground Near Texas A&M Campus**
Subtext and Larson Capital Management, in partnership with lender QuadReal Property Group, have officially broken ground on VERVE College Station, a new student housing development situated at 311 Stasney Street, just steps from the Texas A&M University campus. This marks Subtext’s second development in Texas.
The 21-story, 824,057-square-foot property is set to deliver 1,193 beds across 392 units, along with 930 parking spaces. Units will range from studio apartments to five-bedroom layouts.
Designed with both academics and lifestyle in mind, VERVE will feature a mix of private and collaborative study spaces, a fully equipped fitness center with cardio and weight training areas, a yoga studio, and a wellness suite complete with sauna and meditation rooms.
Social amenities will include a game and screening lounge with a multi-sport simulator, an indoor/outdoor bar and kitchen, and a ground-floor coffee shop and mini-market designed to serve as a communal hub. Outdoor features will offer residents a pool and spa area with poolside cabanas, a jumbotron TV, grilling stations, fire pits, and lounging areas with lawn games.
Construction is expected to be completed by Summer 2028. Hoar Construction is serving as the general contractor.
