**KPPC Advanced Chemicals Begins Construction on $120M Semiconductor Chemical Plant in Casa Grande**
KPPC Advanced Chemicals has officially broken ground on Phase I of a $120 million chemical manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, Arizona. The facility will be located in the Sonoran Valley Industrial Park and is expected to play a key role in supplying critical materials to the U.S. semiconductor industry.
The first phase of the project will focus on the production of ultrapure chemicals and proprietary functional chemicals essential to various semiconductor fabrication processes—including wafer cleaning, etching, chemical mechanical planarization (CMP), photolithography, and advanced packaging. Production at the new facility is slated to begin in late 2027.
The construction phase of the plant is anticipated to provide hundreds of contractor and supplier opportunities throughout Pinal County and the Greater Phoenix area, further boosting regional economic development.
KPPC envisions the Casa Grande site evolving into a full semiconductor chemical campus, with total investments projected to reach approximately $500 million by 2035.
Once operational, the UAP (Ultrapure Advanced Processing) facility will supply leading technology companies such as TSMC, Intel, and Micron with the high-purity materials required for next-generation logic and memory technologies.
