**TSMC Wins State Land Auction, Expands Footprint in North Phoenix**

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) has secured a significant expansion opportunity in North Phoenix, winning a recent Arizona State Land Department auction with a bid of $197.25 million. The acquisition grants TSMC approximately 900 acres of land, which the semiconductor giant will use to grow its campus in the region.

The company is currently building a $165 billion fabrication plant in North Phoenix, where it plans to manufacture its advanced N4 technology chips. Production is expected to begin by late 2024. The development has already catalyzed significant growth in the area, attracting infrastructure improvements and new real estate developments.

Among the major projects surrounding the TSMC facility are two master-planned communities: NorthPark and Halo Vista. Halo Vista is progressing swiftly with development and has announced its first tenants, including a new Costco store and two Marriott hotels.

NorthPark is a sprawling development poised to cover approximately 7,000 acres. It will feature diverse land use districts, including industrial zones poised to support TSMC’s ongoing expansion. In addition to industrial infrastructure, NorthPark will deliver thousands of new housing units, further transforming the North Phoenix landscape into a center for innovation and community growth.
