**Sea Glass Acquires Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates; Jay Olshonsky Named CEO**
Sea Glass, an Irvine, California-based boutique real estate franchisor specializing in waterfront, resort, and lifestyle-driven markets, has acquired Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Both companies’ leadership teams will remain in place to ensure continuity, maintain brand integrity, and provide uninterrupted support to franchisees.
Jay Olshonsky, formerly chairman of NAI Global, has been appointed CEO of both Sea Glass and Sperry. He also becomes a partner in Sperry. Mark Hinkins will continue in his role as president of Sperry, while the company’s founder, Rand Sperry, will serve as chairman emeritus. Nick Vanassche, a partner at Sea Glass, will continue as managing partner of the ownership group.
While Sea Glass and Sperry will retain their distinct brand identities, the newly combined organization will benefit from shared resources. This includes an expanded operational infrastructure and enhanced support services in areas such as technology, marketing, training, and franchise development.
