**CAVA Opens New Des Plaines Location, Plans Further Expansion Across Chicagoland**
Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant chain CAVA Group Inc. continues its expansion in the Chicago area with the opening of a new location in Des Plaines. The 2,500-square-foot restaurant is situated at 2761 Mannheim Road, less than two miles from O’Hare International Airport.
According to the Chicago Business Journal, the Washington, D.C.-based chain has further plans to open two additional locations in the second quarter of 2026. These 2,800-square-foot restaurants will be located at 448 S. Route 59 in Naperville and 1555 Deerfield Parkway in Buffalo Grove.
CAVA made its entrance into the Chicago market in 2024 and has since established a strong local presence with locations in Bolingbrook, Vernon Hills, Kildeer, River Forest, Willowbrook, Wicker Park, Streeterville, and the Willis Tower.
Beyond Illinois, the chain is also growing its footprint in Michigan. It recently debuted its second location in the state and the first in the Detroit metropolitan area. The CAVA Detroit – Woodward Avenue restaurant is a 3,000-square-foot location at 636 Woodward Avenue.
CAVA’s continued expansion reflects its growing popularity and commitment to bringing fresh, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine to more communities across the Midwest.
