**Transwestern Advances Next Phase of The RO Mixed-Use Development in Houston**

Transwestern has announced the commencement of construction on the next phase of The RO (pronounced “row”), a major mixed-use development situated on 17 acres at the intersection of West Alabama and Buffalo Speedway in Houston.

This transformative project features a variety of curated offerings, including The Birdsall, Auberge Collection — Houston’s first Auberge-branded hotel and residences — as well as 80,000 square feet of upscale restaurants and boutique retail, a luxury multifamily residential community known as The Clayton, and top-tier office spaces.

The RO’s first phase includes a 145,000-square-foot Class AA office building, currently nearing completion and expected to welcome tenants by June 2026. The Birdsall, Retail Village, and The Clayton are scheduled for delivery in late 2027. The Birdsall will offer an exclusive combination of 44 private residences situated above a 15-room luxury boutique hotel, marking Auberge’s debut in the Houston market.

Retail Village, designed by the Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, will provide a dynamic retail experience, while The Clayton, designed by renowned architectural firm Packard Chilton, will introduce a 317-unit luxury residential tower positioned prominently at the corner of West Alabama and Buffalo Speedway.

The RO’s initial office building is fully leased, demonstrating strong demand for premium office space within this master-planned development.

Project financing is supported by Madison Realty Capital, Citizens, Texas Capital, and Amegy Bank.
