**Hanlim Construction Acquires Three Texas Golf Courses for $85 Million**
Hanlim Construction, a South Korean firm with a broad portfolio of affiliated enterprises, has expanded its footprint in Central Texas with the acquisition of three golf courses for a combined $85 million. The purchase includes Avery Ranch Golf Club in Williamson County, Teravista Golf Club in Round Rock, and Falconhead Golf Club in western Travis County. The combined annual revenue of these properties is reported to be $20.4 million.
The golf courses were previously owned by Magnolia Hospitality Management, a Round Rock-based company.
Hanlim Construction, originally launched in 1980 as an apartment builder, has since transitioned into the golf course industry, diversifying its investments beyond traditional real estate development.
The acquisition aligns with a growing interest among South Korean companies in the Central Texas region. Spurred in part by Samsung Electronics’ semiconductor plant in Taylor, the area has attracted various Korean enterprises, including companies in Samsung’s supply chain, a bank, an industrial developer, and a car parts manufacturer. These businesses have established operations in nearby cities such as Bastrop, Taylor, and Georgetown.
With this strategic acquisition, Hanlim Construction strengthens its presence in the Texas golf and leisure market, signaling a new phase of investment by international firms in the region.
