St. John Properties Plans Mixed-Use Development in Salisbury, MD
St. John Properties, Inc. has acquired 24 acres of land in Salisbury, Maryland, announcing plans to develop Salisbury Exchange, a new mixed-use business community.
The development will feature approximately 220,000 square feet of flex/research and development space, along with 8,000 square feet of inline retail. Situated along E. Naylor Mill Road, Salisbury Exchange marks the company’s second commercial project in Wicomico County. It joins Westwood Commerce Park, a 16-acre business community at the intersection of Ocean Gateway and Naylor Mill Road.
The company plans to begin speculative construction on Phase I of Salisbury Exchange in spring 2025, aiming for completion and delivery in 2027. The first phase will include two flex/R&D buildings totaling about 75,000 square feet.
Strategically located adjacent to The Centre at Salisbury, a nearly 900,000-square-foot super-regional mall, Salisbury Exchange offers strong regional accessibility. The site is just three miles from downtown Salisbury and roughly 20 miles from Berlin, Maryland, and Millsboro, Delaware.
