**Panattoni Breaks Ground on Gateway Commerce Center at I-76 in Pennsylvania**
Panattoni Development Company has officially commenced construction on the first phase of Gateway Commerce Center at I-76, a major industrial development in Eastern Pennsylvania. The groundbreaking marks the launch of a 1.2-million-square-foot project that initiates a larger master-planned industrial campus expected to span 5 million square feet upon completion.
Located on the historic site of the former Bethlehem Steel Grace Mine, the Gateway Commerce Center is set to redefine logistics and manufacturing in the region. Phase one includes the development of two Class A industrial facilities—one totaling 925,260 square feet and the other 291,600 square feet. Brinkmann Constructors is leading construction efforts, with project completion anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Leasing for the new buildings will be handled jointly by KBC Advisors and Colliers.
The Panattoni team overseeing the project includes John Henriksen (Partner), Ian McDonald (Partner), Ada Frankenberg (Senior Development Manager), and Aaron Tappana (Development Manager). Representing Colliers are Executive Vice Presidents Michael Golarz and Tom Golarz. The KBC Advisors team is led by Partners Michael Zerbe, Mark Chubb, Summer Coulter, and Jason Webb.
The large-scale, strategically located campus aims to support growing demand for modern industrial space in the Mid-Atlantic region.
