Weis Markets to Open New Middletown Store in Delaware
Weis Markets is preparing to celebrate the grand opening of its new 64,000-square-foot store, which will serve as the anchor for Bayberry Town Center in Middletown, Delaware.
Located at 935 McKim Street, the store marks the company’s fourth location in Delaware and is its first ground-up construction project in the state. The event will feature local elected officials from New Castle County, community members, and company executives, including Chairman and CEO Jonathan Weis and Chief Operating Officer Bob Gleeson.
Bayberry Town Center is a mixed-use development offering a variety of amenities including grocery, upscale shopping, restaurants, banking, healthcare services, and office space. The center encompasses 248,655 square feet of retail space, 31,000 square feet of office space, and includes 145 on-site townhomes alongside the flagship Weis grocery store.
The new store underscores Weis Markets’ continued expansion in the Mid-Atlantic region and its commitment to serving growing residential communities.
