**Scale AI Expands DC Presence with Move to Larger Office in National Landing**
Scale AI Inc., a San Francisco-based company that provides training data for artificial intelligence applications, is relocating its Washington, D.C., office to a larger space in Crystal City, part of the National Landing neighborhood.
The company has signed a 22,000-square-foot lease at 2231 Crystal Drive, a property managed by JBG Smith Properties. The new office will accommodate approximately 100 employees, a significant increase from the 30 staff members currently working out of its 5,500-square-foot location at 2121 K Street NW in D.C.’s Golden Triangle district.
This move aligns with Scale AI’s broader global expansion strategy, which includes new locations in New York, St. Louis, and London. With a workforce of more than 1,000 employees, the company’s new Arlington office is expected to open in December.
Scale AI cited several reasons for the relocation, including the desire to strengthen collaboration with federal and defense partners and to upgrade its customer engagement facilities.
