Seattle-based Avatar Financial Group has announced the appointment of Matt Williams as Director of Capital Markets. In this role, Williams will lead outreach efforts and foster relationships with family offices, wealth advisors, and high-net-worth individuals. Williams joins Avatar following a distinguished 20-year career in the U.S. Army Special Forces. He is a recipient of the Medal of Honor—the nation’s highest military recognition—for his heroic actions during combat operations in Afghanistan. Now based in North Carolina, he will play a pivotal role in expanding Avatar’s national capital base and increasing investor access to the firm’s senior-secured commercial real estate debt offerings.
