**BXP Reports Best Q3 Leasing Performance Since 2019**
BXP announced it signed more than 1.5 million square feet of leases in the third quarter of 2025, marking its strongest third-quarter leasing activity since 2019. The average lease term for the deals was 7.9 years. This robust performance represents a 38% year-over-year increase and brings the company’s year-to-date leasing total to approximately 3.8 million square feet.
In downtown Boston, BXP secured over 200,000 square feet in Q3 leases, pushing occupancy rates in the area to 97%. The company’s Manhattan portfolio saw 475,000 square feet of leasing activity, while a significant 50,000-square-foot lease at Reston Town Center in Virginia increased occupancy there to 98%.
