**Centrl Office to Open 34,000-SF Coworking Space in San Francisco**
Portland-based coworking provider Centrl Office has announced it will open a 34,000-square-foot location at Waterfront Plaza in early 2026, marking the company’s first location in San Francisco.
The new coworking space will be situated at 50 Francisco Street, part of the 437,800-square-foot Waterfront Plaza complex. Leased from real estate investment and management firm Jamestown LP, the office will offer private offices and meeting rooms under flexible membership terms. The space was previously occupied by WeWork, which maintained a 62,000-square-foot presence at the site prior to the pandemic.
Centrl Office, founded in 2014, currently operates locations in Portland, Seattle, Sacramento, and Los Angeles. The expansion into San Francisco aligns with growing leasing interest at Waterfront Plaza, where Jamestown recently signed approximately 24,000 square feet of leases with five AI-focused startups.
This move signals Centrl’s continued growth in the West Coast flexible office market as demand for hybrid and collaborative workspaces persists.
