**Pegatron to Build $35M Manufacturing Facility in Georgetown, Texas**

Pegatron, a leading Taiwanese electronics contract manufacturer known for providing artificial intelligence computing services to major clients such as Dell Technologies, Tesla, and Apple, has announced plans to establish a new factory in Georgetown, Texas.

The company recently acquired a 169,000-square-foot facility within the 600,000-square-foot Blue Springs Business Park, located at 610 Blue Springs Blvd. The property is owned by Molto Properties. This move is seen as part of Pegatron’s strategy to expand its manufacturing capabilities in the United States in response to the ongoing trade and tariff landscape.

Pegatron’s operations cover a broad range of services, including design, manufacturing, research, and development. Its product portfolio spans notebooks, desktop PCs, motherboards, video graphics arrays, cable modems, set-top boxes, smartphones, game consoles, tablets, automotive electronics, and smart home devices.

The construction of the new facility is expected to begin before the end of the year, with a projected investment of $35 million.

This development reflects a growing trend of Taiwanese electronics manufacturers establishing a presence in Texas. Other firms such as Foxconn Technology Group in Houston, Wistron Corp. in Dallas, and Inventec Corp., which has also announced plans for a new Texas facility, are among those expanding their operations in the region.
