**Kōz Uptown Celebrates Grand Opening in Seattle’s Uptown Neighborhood**

Community leaders, investors, representatives from Goldman Sachs, and Kōz team members recently came together to celebrate the grand opening of Kōz Uptown, a new 169-unit apartment community in Seattle’s Lower Queen Anne/Uptown neighborhood.

The opening of Kōz Uptown marks a significant step forward in providing affordable housing for the local workforce. Developed by Kōz Development, the project received investment from MSquared — a New York-based, women-led equity firm — along with contributions from local investors. Financing for the development also came through a loan from The Urban Investment Group at Goldman Sachs Alternatives.

Construction of the building was led by Kirtley Cole, while Cushman & Wakefield, under the guidance of Chris Moyer, served as advisors on the project.

“This investment aligns perfectly with our philosophy to build high-quality housing that offers access to transit, jobs, and essential resources,” said Alicia Glen, Founder and Managing Principal of MSquared. “We’re proud to have furthered our partnership with Kōz and to continue delivering affordable workforce housing to the Seattle metro area.”
