**Realty Capital Launches $160M Expansion of Lakeside Village in Flower Mound**

A $160 million expansion of the Lakeside Village development in Flower Mound is set to bring significant additions to the growing community. The project, spearheaded by Realty Capital, will include up to 132 townhomes, 43,000 square feet of retail space, a hotel, multiple plazas and open spaces, as well as a public nature trail.

This new phase, named Lakeside East, builds on Realty Capital’s ongoing $2.2 billion Lakeside Village development, which already features a mix of 40 shops and restaurants, 260 homes, 1,090 garden-style multifamily residences, 207 high-rise villa homes, 48 high-rise condos, and 165,000 square feet of office space. Plans are also underway for a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel as part of the broader development.

According to recent reports, the Flower Mound City Council has approved an economic development agreement to support the expansion. The agreement includes more than $5 million in grants spread over a seven-year period to assist with the retail and hotel components of the project.

Construction for Lakeside East is scheduled to begin in summer 2026, with completion targeted for the summer of 2027. Leasing efforts for the retail and restaurant space are being led by Jake Sherrington with Shop Cos.

This latest endeavor further cements Lakeside Village’s role as a premier mixed-use destination in north Texas.
