**Subtext Debuts EVER West Lafayette Student Housing Near Purdue University**
Subtext has officially opened EVER West Lafayette, a new six-story student housing community located just steps from Purdue University. This marks Subtext’s second development in West Lafayette and the first project unveiled under its newly launched EVER brand.
Situated at 147 West Wood Street, EVER West Lafayette spans 245,649 square feet and offers 449 beds across 143 units. Floor plans range from studio to four-bedroom layouts, including three- and four-bedroom townhomes designed to meet diverse student needs.
The development was executed in partnership with Kayne Anderson Real Estate, with First Mid Bank & Trust serving as the project’s lender. ESG Architecture & Design led the architecture and interior work, while Brinkmann Constructors served as the general contractor.
“This was a first for us—two ground-up developments, across the street from each other, delivered just a year apart,” said Tim VanMatre, Founding Partner at Subtext. “Our team and partners really showed up to keep momentum through every phase, from entitlement and design to construction and lease-up—and we even achieved TCO ahead of schedule, allowing for a seamless transition to operations and move-in.”
