**LCOR Opens Doors to New Residential Tower in Downtown New Rochelle**
LCOR, a real estate investment, development, and management firm, has officially opened “Allen,” a new 28-story residential tower in Downtown New Rochelle. The first residents began moving in on August 29, following the start of leasing earlier this summer.
Located at 247 North Avenue, Allen features 307 residential units and is uniquely powered by a geothermal energy system. This sustainable technology eliminates the need for fossil fuel-burning equipment, helping reduce carbon emissions and providing residents with lower energy costs. Allen marks LCOR’s second geothermal community in New York, following the debut of 1515 Surf Avenue in Coney Island in 2024 — the largest geothermal residential project in New York City to date.
“Allen represents the future of urban living and it’s an exciting moment to officially welcome our first residents to the project,” said Anthony Tortora, co-Chief Investment Officer at LCOR. “With thoughtfully designed unit layouts, a suite of luxury amenities including a pool and penthouse lounges, and its proximity to the New Rochelle Metro-North train station, Allen offers a boutique living experience for renters seeking a vibrant, balanced lifestyle.”
This latest addition to New Rochelle’s skyline reflects a growing emphasis on sustainable development and modern urban design in the region.
