Terravet Real Estate Solutions Acquires Eastern Animal Hospital in Baltimore for $7.75 Million
Terravet Real Estate Solutions, a firm specializing in veterinary real estate, has announced the $7.75 million acquisition of Eastern Animal Hospital, located in Baltimore, Maryland.
“Turning an idle site into a high-functioning veterinary hospital is exactly the kind of outcome we aim for,” said Daniel Eisenstadt, CEO of Terravet Real Estate Solutions.
The 16,433-square-foot facility, located at 6575 Eastern Avenue in a dense urban corridor, was constructed in 2019 by Whiting-Turner Contracting. Designed to house a range of services, the hospital offers urgent and emergency care, diagnostics, dentistry, behavioral medicine, laboratory services, and includes an on-site pharmacy. Its versatile layout also supports non-medical services and allows space for future expansion.
Eastern Animal Hospital is now part of Terravet’s private real estate investment trust (REIT), which currently includes over 650,000 square feet of medical properties built specifically for veterinary use. Terravet manages a nationwide portfolio of more than 1.5 million square feet of veterinary real estate.
