Urban Landings and Stonemark Capital have sold the 209-unit apartment community located at 1800 William Kennerty Drive in Charleston, South Carolina, for $39.75 million. The transaction was brokered by Northmarq’s Charlotte Multifamily Investment Sales team, led by Dane Lozier, Ron Corrao, and Eric Liebich.
The buyer of the property is the Housing Authority of the City of Charleston. The same property was previously sold in 2019 for $22 million, highlighting a significant increase in value over the past few years.
Originally built in 1980, the community—known as 1800 Ashley West—features a mix of classic units as well as three tiers of renovated units. The property offers a combination of one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Residents enjoy a variety of amenities, including pickleball courts, an outdoor fitness area, swimming pool, sun deck, fire pit with hammocks, playground, clubhouse, dog park, and an on-site laundry facility.
