**Interra Realty Brokers $3.15M Sale of West Ridge Apartment Building**
Interra Realty has brokered the $3.15 million sale of a 16-unit vintage apartment building located at 6254 N. Whipple St. in Chicago’s West Ridge neighborhood. The transaction equates to a price of $196,875 per unit.
Brad Feldman, Senior Managing Partner at Interra Realty, represented both the buyer and the seller in the deal. The buyer is a private investor based in Chicago, while the seller is a local private investor. At the time of the sale, the property was fully leased.
“This deal is indicative of buyers finding value in the market while also obtaining a strong price for the seller,” said Feldman. Notably, Feldman also assisted the seller in the property’s original acquisition for $1.8 million in 2023.
Originally built in 1931, the property underwent a full renovation in 2023. Each of the 16 two-bedroom units now features updated plumbing and electrical systems, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit laundry, and modernized interiors.
The building is situated near an array of dining and shopping options along Devon, Lincoln, and Peterson Avenues, and is accessible via multiple public transit bus routes.
