**Silver Property Group Acquires $45M Multifamily Portfolio in East Rogers Park**
Silver Property Group has purchased a 263-unit multifamily portfolio in Chicago’s East Rogers Park for $45 million. The portfolio was previously owned and operated by TAWANI Property Management.
The transaction was brokered by Brian Semel and Connor Loughlin of 95 Realty. Financing was arranged by JPMorgan Chase, with Matthew Cohen and Jose de la Garza leading the lending team.
“These buildings are irreplaceable assets in one of Chicago’s most vibrant and diverse neighborhoods,” said Ron Abrams, Managing Partner at Silver Property Group. “We’re proud to build on TAWANI’s work and contribute to the ongoing vitality of East Rogers Park.”
Among the notable properties included in the acquisition is the Farcroft building at 1337 W. Fargo. Originally constructed in 1928 and renovated in 2013, the 13-story, 84-unit tower features historic architectural design and sweeping lakefront views.
Silver Property Group, founded in 2012, is a boutique real estate investment and management firm. The company currently oversees more than 100 buildings totaling approximately 2,000 units throughout Chicago and its surrounding suburbs.
