**Headwall Investments Expands Houston Retail Holdings with Shops on Gosling Acquisition**
Headwall Investments has acquired the Shops on Gosling, a 34,613-square-foot unanchored shopping center located in Spring, Texas. This marks the company’s third retail center acquisition in the Houston metropolitan area.
Earlier in the region, Headwall purchased the Old Mill Retail Center in Sugar Land in January 2025 and the Fairmont Crossing Retail Center in Pasadena in September 2024.
Specializing in unanchored retail centers, Headwall Investments now owns 19 such properties spread across 11 municipalities in Texas. These centers collectively house around 200 tenant spaces, predominantly occupied by service-oriented businesses such as restaurants, salons, and cafes.
Founded in 2019, Headwall has rapidly expanded its footprint with a retail portfolio totaling approximately 645,000 square feet throughout the Austin, San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Houston markets. The firm’s total portfolio value now exceeds $70 million.
