**Loden Development Launches $75 Million Mixed-Use Project in Raleigh’s Warehouse District**
Loden Development is spearheading a transformative new project in Raleigh’s historic Warehouse District. Titled *The Depot*, the $75 million mixed-use development will incorporate a hotel, retail, and office space at 327 W. Davie Street. Completion is anticipated in 2028.
Located on a 2.37-acre site currently owned by the North Carolina Railroad Company, the project site includes both a surface parking lot and the historic train depot building, which dates back to 1912. Loden has committed to preserving the historic depot as part of the development plans.
The new construction will take place on the existing parking lot and will feature an eight-story, 170-room hotel with a rooftop bar. In addition, the project calls for more than 30,000 square feet of retail space and at least 20,000 square feet of office space. A hospitality brand for the hotel has yet to be selected.
On the retail side, Loden is envisioning 10 to 20 tenants that could include food and beverage operators as well as local, regional, and national brands.
This project marks a significant step in the revitalization of Raleigh’s downtown and the continued blending of historic preservation with modern development.
