Sunset Development Company is making significant changes to Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, with plans to transform it into a $5-billion mixed-use community over the next decade. As part of this ongoing process, they are consolidating medical office use into one central campus located in the Shepherd’s Glen neighborhood. This will free up space for future residential development.
The newly renovated Bishop Ranch Medical Campus is situated at 12677 Alcosta Blvd and covers approximately 203,000 square feet. Currently, it is almost fully leased with 20 medical and wellness tenants who will be relocating from other buildings by spring of 2025. The anchor tenant, John Muir Health, has more than doubled its previous facility by securing a spacious area of 52,000 square feet.
According to Alex Mehran Jr., president and CEO of Sunset Development Company: “The fact that our tenants have chosen to stay during this transition demonstrates how vital Bishop Ranch is as a hub for medical and wellness services within our community.” He also added that their new state-of-the-art facility offers upgraded amenities closer to essential hospital services while being designed for convenience.
