GN, a renowned leader in cutting-edge solutions for hearing, audio, video and gaming technology worldwide, has announced its plans to relocate its North American headquarters from Bloomington to Shakopee in Minnesota. This move is set to take place starting in 2025 and will see GN occupy the former Shutterfly Midwest production facility along Highway 169.

The company has recently finalized a 12-year lease agreement for the site and is currently making preparations for renovation and construction work that will transform it into an advanced manufacturing hub for hearing aids. The new facility will also house repair services as well as shipping operations. GN was represented by Colliers’ agents Andrew Odney and Andrew Heieie during negotiations of the lease.

Since establishing itself at the Bloomington location on East Bloomington Freeway back in 2001, GN’s global headquarters have been based there. However, with this new relocation comes significant growth potential as it represents a substantial increase of almost 80% more space than their current facility offers. The property at Dean Lakes Blvd., built just six years ago in 2014 boasts over twenty-two acres of land with approximately one hundred sixty thousand square feet dedicated to production and warehousing activities while another fifty-eight thousand square feet spread across two floors serves as office space.
