A popular beach club in Ponte Vedra Beach is scheduled to be auctioned off next month due to financial struggles that have caused temporary closures over the past year.
The Serenata Beach Club has faced difficulties in making payments to its lenders, resulting in a foreclosure sale being ordered by a judge. The auction is set for September 12th and according to the Jacksonville Business Journal, the owners Jeffery and Molly Butler owe $14.2 million to two lenders.
Located at 3175 S. Ponte Vedra Blvd., the Serenata Beach Club offers exclusive access to private beaches, as well as amenities such as a spa, pool, and dining options for its members. Reports indicate that membership fees range from $4,500-$6,000 with annual dues of $2
