Trammell Crow is leading a 60-acre mixed-use development in Allen, set to feature an H-E-B supermarket as its anchor. The project will also include offices, restaurants, shops, and hundreds of apartments. Located at the southeast corner of Custer Road and State Highway 121 in Allen, construction is scheduled to commence later this year.
According to the Dallas Business Journal , the development will consist of a 102-unit townhome-for-rent community spanning over 256,000 square feet with an estimated cost of $35 million. Additionally, there are plans for a five-level parking garage and construction on 434 apartment units totaling approximately $83 million. These residential components make up phase one of the project.
ESG Architects from Minneapolis have been chosen as designers for both residential projects.
Construction on phase one is expected to begin in November this year with completion anticipated by December 2026.
