Lee & Associates successfully negotiated a long-term lease for John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. (JBSS) at Venture Park 47 in Huntley, Illinois. This deal, which marks the largest industrial lease of the second quarter in Chicago’s North Kane County submarket and the fourth largest in the entire metropolitan area, was facilitated by principals Frank Griffin and John Sharpe from Lee & Associates’ Illinois office.

The tenant has already begun occupying their new 444,600-square foot facility on Jim Dhamer Drive while also undergoing tenant improvement buildout. The owner of Venture Park 47 is represented by Brian Kling and Reed Adler from Colliers.

According to Griffin: “JBSS’ recent acquisition of TreeHouse Foods’ snack bars business prompted them to search for an expansion opportunity across two states.” Ultimately, they chose this particular building due to its favorable economics and logistical advantages that align with their needs as a company.

Located at 12300 Jim Dhamer Drive and completed just last year (2023), this impressive property spans over 729,823 square feet.

Expertly negotiated by Lee & Associates principals Frank Griffin and John Sharpe from their Illinois office teaming up with Brian Klingand Reed Adler representing owner Venture One Real Estate; JBSS recently secured a long-term lease agreement for their newest location at Huntley’s very own Venture Park- boasting an impressive total area spanning over four hundred forty-four thousand six hundred square feet! Not only does this transaction mark one of Chicago’s most significant industrial leases during Q2 within North Kane County but it also ranks as number four overall throughout all areas within our great metropolis!

As we speak JBSS are currently moving into what will soon become home sweet home after completing necessary improvements needed before officially settling down; meanwhile both parties have been working together diligently towards ensuring everything runs smoothly until completion date arrives- no doubt thanks largely due diligence shown thus far by both sides.
