Bank of America Corp., the second-largest bank in America, is urging its home-office employees to return to work in their physical office space. In a recent letter, the Charlotte-based company informed its staff that they must comply with this mandate within two weeks or face potential consequences. This move by BofA aligns with other companies who are also transitioning back to a pre-pandemic working environment, despite studies showing that many workers prefer flexible or remote work options over being in an office setting. Similar warning letters have been sent out by Citi and Chase as well.
