Jeff Devine and Steve Disse of Colliers recently facilitated the sale of Tollway Corporate Center in Aurora, Illinois on behalf of Opus Development and Principal Asset Management. The transaction involved two state-of-the-art logistics facilities that were sold separately.

One facility, located at 310 Overland Drive, is a cross-docked property spanning over 543,000 square feet. It is currently leased to Ryder Integrated Logistics and was acquired by a major financial institution. The other facility at 300 Overland Drive spans over 104,000 square feet and is fully occupied by two tenants. This building was purchased by The Brimel LLC as part of a tax-deferred exchange under section 1031.

Both buildings are situated in an idyllic park-like setting near a full interchange close to the intersection of Route 31 and I-88. Tollway Corporate Center boasts three modern industrial structures designed for warehouse distribution operations or light manufacturing purposes. Two buildings within the complex have already received Green Globes certifications while plans are underway for obtaining certification for the third property.

The post from Colliers highlights their successful representation in this significant sale involving top-notch logistics facilities within Aurora’s thriving business landscape.
